Sanyo Sapporo Ramen
Fumio and Takeshi Ida, two Japanese alcohol dealers, developed Sanyo Foods, formerly known as Fuji Seimen Inc. It was originally just a factory for making noodles. Prior to the company's growth and expansion, it adopted the name Sanyo Foods and concentrated on producing both dry noodles for everyday meals and instant noodles for rapid consumption. Sanyo Foods is one of the earliest producers of instant noodles thanks to the Piyopiyo Ramen, a chicken ramen that debuted in 1963 and was featured on television commercials throughout Japan.
You must be familiar with the name Sapporo Ichiban, for their wide market of instant noodles. For those who do not know, this is a brand of instant noodles made by Sanyo Foods, which was debuted in 1966 by Takeshi Ida, a ramen enthusiast who visited Ramen Alley in Sapporo after sampling ramen across all of Japan, with the original flavor.
Depending on the location, Sapporo Ichiban goods vary and are different. Yet, its instant noodles are popular all over the world, not just in Japan, but also in Hong Kong, the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Wherever you are in the world, Sapporo Ichiban ramen remains the same quality, providing you a premium flavor at a reasonable price.
