Scott Vivo Plus
The Scott Vivo Plus was, no doubt, among the comfiest vented street rider helmets we have ever tested. It is true that most of us are more familiar with the Scott's snowboard and ski helmets. But we cannot deny that we were as impressed with its MIPS bike helmet nonetheless.
Among the top cycling helmets on our list, you can say that the Scott Vivo Plus is much heavier than the Giro Register, for example, and lacks longitudinal vents for improved aerodynamics. As a result, during long trips in the sun, it generated more warmth than we desired.
But in compensation, we discovered that this Scott Vivo Plus helmet was incredibly comfortable; and unlike some other versions we examined, it did not tend to slip forward. Though the helmet had a somewhat broader profile than others, this had no effect on its size compatibility. Even better, the helmet comes with a removable visor - with two adjustment options - and a soft tote bag.
