The University of Dschang

The University of Dschang is a non-profit public higher education institution located in Dschang, Western Cameroon, approximately 425 km northwest of Yaoundé. It originated from three agricultural training schools and grew from an agricultural institution into a university in 1993.

The University of Dschang is medium-sized with a capacity of 15,000 students. The education was carried out by 599 teachers and professors. It is recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur, Cameroon. The University is a member of several organizations and associations, including the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), the Council for the Development of Social Sciences Research in Africa (CODESRIA), and the Council of Higher Education of Africa and Madagascar (CAMES).

The University of Dschang offers courses and programs leading to lawfully recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's preparatory degrees, bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, and doctoral degrees in a wide range of research areas.
