The University of Ngaoundéré
The University of Ngaoundéré is a public university located in Ngaoundéré, Adamawa Region in Cameroon. It was established on 19 January 1993 by Presidential decree. Initially made up of two professional schools and four faculties, the institution today has four professional schools and faculties with about 30,000 students and 400 academic staff.
The University of Ngaoundéré provides programs and courses that lead to legal higher education degrees in a variety of fields of study. The academic departments of the University of Ngaoundéré are as follows: Faculty of Arts Letters and Human Sciences, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Economic Science and Management, Faculty of Law and Political Sciences and Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
The institution currently has five professional schools which are the School of Chemical Engineering and Mineral Industries, National School of Agro-Industrial Sciences, School of Geology and Mining Engineering, School of Science and Veterinary Medicine, and University Institute of Technology.
