University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf ( UKE )
The University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf is the University of Hamburg's teaching hospital and one of Hamburg's largest. UKE has 1,460 beds and 121 day care centers, and it's on the list because it can coordinate emergency medical services.
The Faculty of Medicine is jointly operated by the UKE and the University of Hamburg, and it educates medical and dental students from all over the world. They have a number of shared amenities that are used by students as well as the general public. The Medical Library at UKE has a large variety of print and digital media, as well as online learning resources, for research and study. For educational purposes, students have access to the UKE's Anatomical Collection.
