Assistance Publique (AP-HP) is the university hospital trust that serves Paris and its environs. It is Europe's and one of the world's largest hospital systems, providing treatment, teaching, research, prevention, education, and emergency services in 52 medical specialties.

Asklepios Klinik Bad Abbach is an orthopedic and rheumatology/clinical immunology specialist hospital, as well as an orthopedic and rheumatology rehabilitation facility. The Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois (CHUV) is one of Switzerland's five university hospitals, located in Lausanne. The CHUV is affiliated with the University of Lausanne's Faculty of Biology and Medicine (UNIL). The medical services provided by the CHUV benefit about 45,000 people each year. Geneva Academic Hospitals ( HUG ) is the country's largest hospital and one of Switzerland's university institutions. This is one of Europe's largest hospitals. HUG was created in 1995 as a union of all Geneva hospital corporations, and it was originally founded in 1535.

The University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf is the University of Hamburg's teaching hospital and one of Hamburg's largest. UKE has 1,460 beds and 121 day care centers, and it's on the list because it can coordinate emergency medical services.

The Faculty of Medicine is jointly operated by the UKE and the University of Hamburg, and it educates medical and dental students from all over the world. The Tuebingen University Hospital (UKT), founded in 1805, is one of Germany's leading centers for tertiary medicine, with 17 clinics, institutes, and university centers, contributing to the union's success in high-performance medicine, research, and teaching. Since January 1998, the Tuebingen University Hospital has been an independent institution under public law, with a governing board and supervisory board.

As a maximum-care organization, UKT is known throughout the region. Approximately 75,000 inpatients and approximately 380,000 outpatients are treated annually. According to the regularly performed patient survey, more than 96% of inpatients will recommend the UKT to others.

UKT researchers work at the Hertie Institute for Clinical Brain Research and are part of the Werner Reichardt Centre for Integrative Neurosciences (CIN) (HIH). Sahlgrenska University Hospital (SU) provides emergency and basic treatment to the 700,000 people who live in the Gothenburg region, as well as highly specialized care to the 1.7 million people who live in West Sweden.
