UNIVERSITY OF NAIROBI

University of Nairobi is Kenya's largest and most prestigious institution. The university had 22000 students enrolled in 2002. On Nairobi's Uhuru Highway, this prestigious legal institution may be found. DR. Vijoo Rattansi is the chancellor of this public research university. It is associated with ACU and has a campus in the ACU Urban Area. The university underwent a substantial restructuring in 1983, resulting in the formation of six colleges led by principals and decentralization of management. In addition, in 2021, the institution was reorganized to comprise faculties managed by Executive Deans, with the colleges being phased away.

This university offers students the opportunity to pursue a legal degree. Private, public, and commercial legal departments all exist in this city. A well-known institute alumnus is DR. Smokin Wanjala. He is Kenya's Supreme Court Chief Justice. On the list is included Hon. Martha Karua. She was a former Minister and Member of Parliament. Her line of work was as a lawyer. There are a slew of other prominent alumni from the university.
