UNIVERSITY OF WESTERN CAPE
The University of the Western Cape is a well-known public university in Cape Town, South Africa. This college had 15226 students enrolled in 2011. They were enrolled as undergraduates in 11836 of them. A total of 3390 postgraduates were registered. This famous African Institute was established in 1959. HESA, IAU, CHEC, and ACU are all connected with this public university. There are four departments in the Faculty of Law. The University of the Western Cape (UWC) is a research-based institution. The academic staff is highly qualified, and half of them have graduated with a Ph.D. Moreover, most departments have postgraduate programs, some of which even have the country's largest application. Many institutions and centers have a strong research focus. There are also major projects and programs that draw on expertise from several departments and faculties. The University of the Western Cape collaborates with the universities of Cape Town and Stellenbosch. Postgraduate students make up 20% of all students at UWC.
