  1. One of the Best Cuban Sandwich in Miami, Sanguich de Miami is a small, 25-seat restaurant on Calle Ocho. The trick? The modest company prepares the majority of its own ingredients, including pickles, pickled onions, mustard, ham, pork, and brined turkey. Any Cuban sandwich requires bread, which is produced to Sanguich's standards by a Homestead bakery. Six sandwiches, including the medianoche and pan con croqueta, and seven batidos (Cuban milkshakes, for those who are unfamiliar), all prepared to order, are available on the menu. To rapidly meet your cafecito cravings, owners Daniel Figueredo and fiancée Rosa Romero even erected a cute ventanita.

To a period when grandmother insisted on third fixing and parents told us stories about a time before the Cuban Revolution when la Isla was breathtakingly beautiful and prosperous. bsat on his rocking rocker, puffing on his second cigar of the day, with Arsenio Rodriguez's "Tu Reloj Pastora" playing in the background. Whatever your customs are, share them with a buddy and teach your kids about them.

Open up the recipe book your mother gave you and start cooking for your family. Dust off that old vinyl and dance in your parents' living room as you did when you were a child. Watch classic movies and think back to Pepito's chit-chats. Preserving the past aids in developing the future. Keep the legacy of your family alive.

  2. The sole Cuban restaurant in Wynwood has found success by serving cheap sandwiches baked with buttery Cuban bread and loaded with pig, croquettes, and other fillings to hipsters and tourists. Longtime favorites include the steak sandwich and the frita (Cuban hamburger). While lunch specials are ample and attractive, they don't quite compare to the temptation of ordering an afternoon cortadito at the walk-up window.

It can be tempting to discount this Wynwood establishment, which is constantly crowded, as fake or commercial. What are hipsters' opinions of Cuban cuisine? It seems they know a lot after all. Despite the crowds, Enriqueta's sandwiches are still cooked to order and delivered quickly! The best sandwich is still the original: Although we usually steer clear of cheese and pickles, the flavors are spot on. If you want more pork, order the Doble, or for something truly decadent, order the Preparado, which has two croquetas filled within.

  3. Sergio's slender girl menu, nicknamed La Flaca, is the solution when your taste senses are begging for Cuban food but your weight is screaming salad. Think of healthy salads as a welcome substitute for calorie-dense Cuban favorites, along with low-carb cauliflower rice, turkey ground beef, and other dishes. This restaurant is a favorite among younger groups because of its bilingual menu, dog-friendly terrace, and late-night service.

With its low-calorie menu known as La Flaca, or "the slim lady" in English, and Cuban takes on traditional American foods like the cobb salad and other flatbreads, this local Cuban chain attracts to a younger demographic. However, the Cuban sandwich, which is uncomplicated and a genuine sando, hasn't changed. If you have it delivered, the second half is kept warm by the aluminum foil wrapping while you have the substantial sandwich.

  4. It bills itself as the most well-known Cuban restaurant in the world, and the Cubano is arguably its most well-known dish. The original was toasted, packed with the correct components, and cut exactly in half. There is a special variation that is a little bit larger. Even though it can be a soggy mess, we're here for the extra mustard and succulent pork fat keeping everything together.

Versailles is a kitschy Cuban diner with wall-to-wall mirrors, a continual buzz, and an unrestricted menu with every item ever categorized as Cuban. It is almost as well-known locally as its palatial namesake is in France. During times of political instability, the Little Havana landmark serves as an unofficial gathering spot for the city's Cuban minority. The proportion of toasted bread, meat, and cheese has been mastered in Versailles. The Cuban is unquestionably the most recognizable sandwich on the menu. The Cubano may even be the most well-liked item on the entire menu. The original is toasted, packed with the correct components, and cut exactly in half. There is a unique variation that is a little bit larger.

  5. This eatery likes to break the rules when it comes to Cuban sandwiches. Instead of mustard, Sarussi uses his special sauce, a liquid sofrito with overtones of cumin that packs a powerful taste. The bread can be requested with melted butter drizzled on top and has an Italian flavor rather than a Cuban one. Purists take note: Although a classic Cubano won't be found here, you'll still receive a fantastic sandwich.

Long before Subway's footlong sandwiches existed, Miami residents adored Sarussi Subs' gigantic sandwiches. Although the restaurant's dining area isn't particularly attractive, the majority of patrons choose takeout instead, clutching huge white paper bags with Sarussi's secret sauce oozing through. The classic sandwich, which consists of smoked ham, baked pork, mozzarella cheese, pickles, and a secret sauce, is still without a doubt a fan favorite, but Sarussi's expanding menu also offers steak, hog, chicken, and chorizo sandwiches.

  6. Cuban sandwiches are naturally quick food, but until Pollo Tropical's sandos reached the market, there wasn't really a fast food version of the sandwich. Listen to us out before you start questioning the Florida chicken chain's position in an already saturated market. Pollo performs well in all three of these categories: cost, accessibility (hey, drive-thru!) and consistency.

The sandwiches at Pollo Tropical are not only a sensible choice but also scrumptious. There is more emphasis on the filling because the bread is a hybrid of a media noche bread (soft and eggy) and a flattened Cuban baguette. You can order it as a regular Cuban sandwich or substitute fried chicken for the roasted pork. With your choice of one of our unique sauces, pick from a variety of crispy or grilled chicken entrees that are accompanied with delectable sides and desserts.

  7. Caribe is a member of a modest network of affordable Cuban eateries with generous portions that are situated in Miami. There is no exception with the Cuban sandwich. Although there is too much pork for an even ratio, the meats are piled high, and the bread itself is sliced larger than in other restaurants (it's also roughly $1 more expensive). Bring food, or be ready to share.

Caribe Cafe serves hearty quantities of authentic Cuban food. The neighborhood company, which has locations in Miami and Hialeah, serves Cuban sandwiches piled high with layers of ham and roast pork along with rice-and-beans combos. We advise choosing one of the many fresh juices on offer to sip, such as the icy watermelon on tap.
