  1. SASA is one of the biggest producers of polyester, polyester-based polymers, specialty polymers, and intermediates in the world. SASA is able to handle the whole process, from design to manufacturing to distribution, because it is the leader in its field, has a strong technical background, and has a culture of innovation.     Since its founding in 1966, when it first started making polyester, SASA has kept its fast growth rate going by making investments every year. In 2000, SASA teamed up with the world's largest chemistry company, DuPont, to stay at the top of the polyester business and make its position even stronger.     When Sabanc Holding bought Dupont shares in 2004, the company's name was changed to ADVANSA. In 2005, the company for the group in Turkey changed its name to ADVANSA SASA Polyester Sanayi A.Ş.. In 2011, Sabanc Holding bought all of the shares of ADVANSA BV. In September of that year, it changed its name from ADVANSA SASA to SASA.

    On April 30, 2015, ERDEMOLU Holding bought the shares of Sabanc Holding. This created a new ownership structure in which ERDEMOLU Holding owned 51% of the total shares and the rest were held by the public.     QNB Finansbank

    The main office of the Turkish bank QNB Finansbank is in Levent, Istanbul. It was started in 1987 by the famous Turkish banker Hüsnü Özyeğin. For a while, it was the Turkish bank with the most branches abroad.
