Alum Creek
Pymatuning Reservoir is a man-made lake on land that was formerly a sizable marsh in Crawford County, Pennsylvania, and Ashtabula County, Ohio. Pymatuning State Park in Ohio and Pymatuning State Park in Pennsylvania both contain significant portions of it.
One of the top water recreation spots in the state is the lake at Alum Creek. It is well-liked by sailors learning to sail, kayakers, jet skiers, and boaters. Alum Creek is situated in Delaware, in the center of Ohio.
The lake's 3,387 acres of water have designated areas where boaters can enjoy spacious spaces for pleasure and skiing with unlimited horsepower. There are docks, a great full-service marina, and four boat ramps. If you require a life jacket for the day, there is even a loaner board at the New Galena ramp.
The largest inland beach in the state is Alum Creek's additional key attraction. Locals love to hang out at the beach, which is 3,000 feet long, in the summer. It features volleyball courts and changing rooms. Alum Creek also offers a fantastic four-acre dog park where the canines can spend the day running about and playing in the water.
