Tappan Lake
In Harrison County, Ohio, in the United States, there is a reservoir called Tappan Lake, also called Tappan Reservoir. The lake, which is a part of the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District, has a surface area of 9.5 km2 and a 20 km2 surrounding area. The average pool is 274.1 meters above sea level. Boats are limited to 298 kW on the lake. There are two public launch ramps, one across from Tappan Marina and the other close to the roadside rest stop on U.S. 250. Within Tappan Lake Park, there is a third launch ramp.
The family memories of the tourists who make traveling to the lake an annual tradition are as vivid as the sunsets on northern Ohio's Tappan Lake. The lake's 2,300 acres are near Deersville. Boating, water skiing, jet skiing, and tubing are all enjoyable on the lake. Tappan Lake is one of the best lakes to visit in Ohio.
There are two launch ramps at the lake as well as supplies and food at the Tappan Lake Marina. At Tappan Lake, swimming and fishing are other very popular activities. Great public amenities around this lake include concessions, a nature center, and year-round events, particularly in the summer.
