In Harrison County, Ohio, in the United States, there is a reservoir called Tappan Lake, also called Tappan Reservoir. The lake, which is a part of the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District, has a surface area of 9.5 km2 and a 20 km2 surrounding area. The average pool is 274.1 meters above sea level. Boats are limited to 399 horsepower (298 kW) in the lake. There are two public launch ramps, one across from Tappan Marina and the other close to the roadside rest stop on U.S. 250. Within Tappan Lake Park, there is a third launch ramp.
