Indian Lake
Indian Lake is a reservoir located in western Ohio's Logan County. Southeast of Lima, it is around 20 miles (32 km) away. It receives water from Blackhawk Creek, Van Horn Creek, Cherokee Mans Run, and the north and south forks of the Upper Great Miami River.
West-central Ohio's artificial Indian Lake is a fantastic all-around lake for water sports. Boat ramps, parking lots, restrooms, and accessible public swimming places are all close to the lake. Jet skiing, water skiing, and boating are popular activities on the lake. There are two public beaches and camping available at Indian Lake State Park. The lake is boater-friendly and has five launch ramps, including one specifically for kayaks at Moundwood.
The most well-liked public swimming beach with bathrooms and a changing area is Old Field Beach, but Fox Island Beach is also pleasant. Boaters can swim at Walnut Islands and Oldfield Beach, two locations on the lake.
With healthy numbers of largemouth bass, crappie, and channel catfish as well as being one of the best saugeye fisheries in the state, fishing is popular in Indian Lake.
