Art Share L.A.

Art Share LA is a warehouse sanctuary in the Downtown Arts District with 28,000 square feet of studio space. A community-programmed facility (containing a dance studio, gallery, classrooms, and painting studio) is available on Art Share LA's ground level for art workshops, pop-up exhibitions, and events. They provide 30 subsidized live/work lofts for artists on the next floor.

Art Share LA is a non-profit art center situated in Los Angeles, California. Chip Austin Hunter launched Art Share in 1997 as a community arts center and affordable housing project. This non-profit art center has two exhibition galleries (main and peripheral), a sound-proof recording studio, a range of seminars, and a live-streaming theatrical performance area. The mission of Art Share is to give artists chances by fostering a creative environment in which they can perform, exhibit, and develop their work.
