The Annenberg Space for Photography is a cultural destination that showcases both digital and print photography in a small-scale setting. The area includes cutting-edge, high-definition digital technology as well as conventional prints by some of the world's most recognized photographers as well as a selection of up-and-coming photographers. The Good Luck Gallery opened in 2014 with the goal of showcasing modern self-taught and visionary art. LA Louver is a contemporary art gallery situated in Los Angeles. This art gallery in Venice, California, first opened its doors in 1975. Art Share LA is a warehouse sanctuary in the Downtown Arts District with 28,000 square feet of studio space. The Loft at Liz's is a creative hotspot not to be missed in LA's famous Miracle Mile district, which is home to LACMA and museum row. In Leimert Park, Art + Practice was founded in 2014 as an art and social service organization. The foundation was founded by Mark Bradford, along with collector Eileen Harris Norton and social activist Allan DeCastro, who spent time studying before deciding how they would go to the predominantly Black neighborhood.

Their free arts programs and museum-curated exhibitions are dedicated to inspiring and meeting the needs of transition-aged foster youngsters in the area and are made possible by cooperating with institutions across the country. Every piece on show is in the hopes of reactivating the artist's community in South L.A., which was formerly home to the legendary Brockman Gallery and a hotbed of inspiration during the Black Arts Movement's heyday.

A visit to Blum & Poe, whose owners Tim Blum and Jeff Poe were instrumental in the formation of the Culver City Arts District in 2003 when they relocated their Santa Monica gallery to a 5,000-square-foot industrial warehouse in the new area, is a must in any art tour of Los Angeles. The gallery, which was once recognized for its abstract paintings, currently represents over 50 artists working in a variety of media. Blum and Poe have created a name for themselves as tastemakers first and foremost by introducing international artists to the American market.

They've produced large-scale studies of worldwide art trends in recent years, including the Japanese Mono-ha moment, the life of Korean Dansaekhwa monochrome painters, and a revisit of Brazilian modernism. Young Chung, an artist and curator, launched the gallery in 2010. It began in his apartment on Commonwealth Avenue and Council Street in Historic Filipinotown, where it served as a weekend gallery and an informal residence program for aspiring artists. Chung was compelled to relocate the gallery to its current location in Koreatown in 2011 due to an influx of visitors, but the gallery preserved the moniker derived from its previous address.

Young Chung's gallery started in his Koreatown apartment. He turned his living and dining rooms into hubs for colleagues to work and show on weekends, creating a forum for rising artists of color, queer artists, and artists with intersecting identities. Chung subsequently carried this warm and welcoming approach into the current location, creating a showroom for artists who might otherwise be overlooked by heritage or mainstream mega-galleries. Since 2014, The Mistake Room has been a leader in developing an alternative approach for exhibiting Latinx artists' work that goes beyond representation. César Garcia-Alvarez and Glenn Kaino, the founders, wish to put Latinx art in perspective and assist visitors to understand the diversity of art practice with Latin American roots.
