The Good Luck Gallery
The Good Luck Gallery opened in 2014 with the goal of showcasing modern self-taught and visionary art. It is the only gallery in Los Angeles that focuses completely on non-mainstream, non-academic art, and it is located in the center of the Chinatown artist's neighborhood. Self-taught painters, sculptors, and multi-media artists are the emphasis of this gallery. Jeff Cairns, Ted Diamond, Leroy Almon, and other well-known painters are among those displayed at the Good Luck Gallery. From time to time, the gallery offers a range of exhibits. You can read about current exhibitions and other pertinent information on the gallery's website.
The Tierra del Sol Foundation, which provides modern art studios to disadvantaged people, has taken over the Good Luck Gallery. Admission is by appointment only, so phone ahead to schedule your visit.
