Bešenovačko Lake
Bešenovačko Lake, also known as Beli Kamen, is a small body of water on the slopes of Fruka Gora, 30 kilometers from Novi Sad. It is an uncommon oasis made possible by the coexistence of nature and human activity. Locals frequently refer to this lake as Beli kamen or just Beenovo. The distance to the Sremska Mitrovica municipality's center is 23 kilometers.
In 2004, an aquifer that flooded the deepest portions of the mine was severed, creating the lake on the site of a surface mine where limestone was extracted for the needs of the cement factory in Beocin. A 200-meter-diameter lake that was 15 meters deep eventually emerged.
It was formerly a mine where marl ore was removed; now it is an azure lake with white stone surrounding it. The people utilize Lake Beenovako as a picnic spot instead of fishing because it is stocked. Near the lake, there is a wooden chapel that resembles the Beenovo monastery. This lake is an oasis for all who want to enjoy nature or refresh themselves during the hot summer days.
