Silver Lake
One of Serbia's most well-liked vacation destinations each year is Lake Silver, also known as Srebrno Jezero, an artificial lake. 110 kilometers separate it from Belgrade. Along with the undeniable beauty of the lake and the coast, visitors may also take advantage of the aqua park, a variety of dining options, and playgrounds. The lake's surface is so burned at dusk that it appears to be silver even though there isn't any silver in the water.
Four decades ago, Srebrno Jezero opened a car park and a hotel called "Silver Lake" and became well-known. It was a haven for domestic visitors and fisherman who visited this "Serbian silver sea" every year. The lake has a surface area of 4 km2, measures 14 km in length, 300 m in width, and 8 m in depth. Visitors can enjoy aqua park, tourist boats, boat docks, congress, sports, leisure content, and a variety of bars and restaurants. A boat that travels to Golubac Fortress, Ramski Fortress, and the mouth of the river Pek is available for Danube cruises. Tourists can also see Veliko Gradiste, a coastal community where nearly every house doubles as a small metal-products factory, and a river island of Moldova that is legally protected and where 72 species of birds have been discovered.
The Raman fortification, built in the 12th century, the Golubac fortress, the Tuman Monastery, the Nimik Monastery, the Lepenski Vir archaeological site, and the Viminacium Archaeological site are only a few of the cultural and historical landmarks close to Srebrno Jezero. Undoubtedly, Silver Lake is a great place for a picnic during the sweltering summer months.
