Bor Lake
In eastern Serbia, there is a man-made lake called Bor Lake. This is one of the most beautiful lakes in Serbia. The lake was created in 1959 as a result of the building of a dam over the rivers Valja Dzoni, Marec, and a portion of Zlot (Zlotska reka) for the use of the mining and smelting firm RTB Bor.
Bor Lake is a popular tourist and local destination. The Mining and Smelting Complex Bor uses the lake water largely for its rides, but it is also used to promote tourism. Many locals and tourists from the area go to this picture-perfect location in the summer to enjoy the crystal-clear, transparent mountain waters.
It is most enticing to swimmers in these lakes is they can swim to their hearts' content and be used for other recreational activities. Four incredibly gorgeous beaches as well as a few smaller ones have been constructed on the lake's shoreline with this in mind. There are facilities for athletes in which they may go for football, volleyball, handball, basketball, and other sporting events, with the main beach and the tropical bar typically being the most well-liked spots. The beauty of this town seems to be attested to by the plentiful animals and picture-perfect surroundings, which draw tourists to the lake shores on an annual basis.
