Vnasila Lake
Southeast Serbia has a semi-artificial lake called Vlasina Lake. The lake is Serbia's highest and biggest man-made body of water. It was built between 1947 and 1951 when the peat bog known as Vlasinsko Blato (also known as Vlasina Mud) was blocked off by a dam and flooded by arriving rivers, mostly the Vlasina.
The bay, which is perfect for beaches, water sports, and camping, seems to be where its beauty is located. There are 12 more bays in all, with Biljana Bay receiving the most visitors. Plana, Vardenik, and Cemernik are three further picturesque mountains. The presence of floating islands where the winds cause the lake's water level to rise is undoubtedly what makes you fall in love with this location. However, a long-standing legend that has been told in this area for ages seems to impress the majority of visitors.
For those looking to spend their vacation in peace and quiet, away from the bustle of large towns, Vlasina Lake is a truly hidden gem of unspoiled nature
