Could aid in the treatment of vitiligo
According to certain studies, black seed oil may be helpful in the treatment of vitiligo, a condition that results in the loss of skin color. In one research of 33 vitiligo patients, pigmentation in the hands, face, and the pubic area was reported to be improved after six months of twice-daily application of a cream produced with black seed oil to the skin.
Using black seed oil topically for six months dramatically decreased the number of vitiligo lesions, especially on the arms, trunk, head, and neck, according to second research conducted in 2014 on 52 patients. Researchers have hypothesized that black seed oil's advantages may result from its capacity to disseminate melanin throughout the skin. A form of the natural pigment called melanin may be found in your hair, skin, and eyes.
