Could help treat psoriasis

It's interesting to note that some research suggests black seed oil may help with the management of psoriasis, a chronic inflammatory disease marked by scaly red spots on the skin. In research on animals, administering black seed oil to the skin improved psoriasis signs and symptoms in rats by reducing skin inflammation. The effects of black seed oil on human psoriasis are not well understood at this time.

An herbal cream that included black seed oil along with additional substances including olive oil, tea tree oil, cocoa butter, and vitamins A and B12 was tested on 12 persons in short research to determine its benefits. They discovered that after using the herbal cream on the afflicted region every day for 12 weeks, 83% of individuals had at least a 75% reduction in the severity of their psoriasis. It's crucial to note that since black seed oil was mixed with other components in this study, it is impossible to determine if black seed oil was responsible for the positive outcomes. The potential effects of black seed oil on human psoriasis require further study.
