Could protect against liver conditions
Recharging your body with a great cup of coffee might really make you and your liver feel better after a long night of drinking alcohol. It's interesting to note that numerous research suggests coffee may promote liver health and disease prevention.
For instance, one research found that people with liver disease who drank more than two cups of coffee per day had decreased rates of liver cancer and liver scarring. According to another study, people who drank more coffee had a decreased risk of death from chronic liver disease. One cup of coffee per day was associated with a 15% reduced risk, while four cups per day was associated with a 71% lower risk. Another recent study discovered that drinking coffee was linked to decreased liver stiffness, which is a measure used by medical professionals to assess fibrosis, the formation of scar tissue in the liver.
