Great America Amusement Park

Great America Amusement Park in San Jose opened its doors for the first time in 1976. The park, which is currently managed by Cedar Fair, is situated on 100 acres and is regarded as Northern California's top amusement facility. The roller coasters range from the Gold Striker, which is regarded as the new benchmark for wooden roller coasters, to the newest addition, the Rail Blazer, which boasts a cutting-edge design that is unmatched by any other coaster in the world.

The family has plenty to do thanks to the thrill rides, family rides, carnival games, and Boomerang Bay, a water park. Planet Snoopy has rides, entertainment, playgrounds, and a meet-and-greet with all your favorite Charlie Brown characters for the park's youngest guests. If a Great America day fits into your vacation plans, make sure to plan carefully because the park is only open during certain times of the year. The San Francisco 49ers football team's home stadium, Levi Stadium, is close to Great America Amusement Park.
