Gu Family Book (2013)

Gu Family Book, a historical fantasy drama that stars Suzy, relates the tale of Choi Kang Chi (Lee Seung Gi), a character who is half human and half gumiho. Suzy portrayed Dam Yeo Wool, a martial arts teacher at her father's school who excels with a bow and arrow, in the 24-part series. She never forgot the day Kang-chi protected her from being mauled by a dog when she was younger. Many years later, while Kang Chi was attempting to become totally human, they reconnected. She didn't have to wait long before she started loving him.

The fact that Yeo Wol embraced Kang Chi for who he is on the inside, despite the fact that he is a heavenly being that many people dread, did not go unnoticed because Kang Chi had previously had a one-sided love affair with another lady. This novel includes all the elements that fans of sageuks like, such as stunning scenery, heart-stopping sword combat, and political intrigue. But what makes this drama so captivating is how the intricate, emotional plot snares and squeezes your heart with each new episode. At the MBC Drama Awards, Suzy won the Top Excellence Actress prize for her performance in the miniseries category.
