The route between Boston, Massachusetts, and Hanover, New Hampshire is an epic fall road trip that embodies the heart of New England. You may spend time in Boston, a huge city with tons of history, food, and shopping, and then in Hanover, a little college town with a gorgeous Main Street and lots of cute restaurants and stores. Boston is an excellent walking city. There are several hotels in downtown Boston, including the Hyatt Regency, which is ideally positioned along the Freedom Trail, a 2.5-mile walk that connects 16 historical landmarks. The road from Boston to Hanover is largely level, passing through woodlands and rolling hills. It is loaded with trees with spectacular red, orange, and yellow leaves in the fall. Hanover, just on the Vermont border, is a wonderful place to wander and explore. The Hanover Inn, located across from Dartmouth College and at the beginning of Main Street, is one of the greatest locations to stay. Dartmouth College provides daily tours of its lovely historical buildings. If you enjoy hiking, you may reach the Appalachian Trail from there. The magnificent fall foliage will take your breath away if you go exploring in the fall.
