Korea University
Korea University is a private university that was established in 1905. The university's current name was given to it in 1946 after it was renamed Bosung College. The South Korean university has two campuses, one in Seoul, Anam, and the other in Sejong, both about 80 miles apart. Tuition is the same for domestic and international students, and non-Korean students can apply for university and government-sponsored scholarships. There is university housing available, as well as international student residences such as the CJ International House and the Anam Global House. Foreign students can benefit from a buddy program and a language partner program to help them adjust to campus life.
Korea University is the “K” in SKY and is among the top 100 in the world for University rankings. Half the classes at Korea University are taught in English. Therefore, the school is known for its strong programs in the fields of International Studies, Business, and Asian Studies. In addition, Korea University operates over 100 research centers over the world such as the Asiatic Research Center and the Korean Cultural Research Center. For those interested in their graduate program, courses that are available in English include Korean Studies, International Area Studies, and International Business.
