Kyungpook National University
Kyungpook National University is a South Korean national university that serves Daegu Metropolitan City and Gyeongbuk Province. It is located in Daegu Metropolitan City, which was previously the capital city of Gyeongbuk Province in South Korea before being separated from the mother province. (The term "Kyungpook" in the university's name is an old romanization of the province's name, which is now most commonly spelled Gyeongbuk).
In the Gyeongbuk province, Kyungpook National University has four campuses. The main campus, which houses the major engineering and science schools, is located in the Buk-gu district of Daegu. The Kyungpook National University also has a Dongin campus for its teaching hospital, as well as a Samduk campus for its dental school and hospital.
