Yonsei University

Yonsei University is a private university that dates back to 1885 when Christian missionaries established a hospital that later became part of the university. The current university was established in 1957. The South Korean university has several campuses, the most important of which is the Sinchon campus in Seoul. The International Campus in Songdo, which opened in 2010, and the Wonju Campus are two other locations. Yonsei's tuition is the same for both domestic and international students, and it varies by academic subject. Both undergraduate and graduate students have access to university housing. Yonsei freshmen spend their first year on the International Campus and participate in the university's residential college system, where they join one of 12 houses that offer educational and social activities.

Yonsei
is also a part of SKY and focuses a lot on creativity and outside thinking. However, it is a private University. All classes at Yonsei University are taught in English. Therefore there is no need to know the Korean language when attending. Therefore, it is a very popular destination for foreign students. They have their famous Study at Yonsei which is a Yonsei University Exchange/Visiting Student program for international students looking to study for a year or a semester in South Korea.
