K.Zhubanov Aktobe Regional State University
The university was founded in 1966 as Aktobe State Pedagogical Institute, but due to a reorganization in 2013, it was given its current name. Today, K.Zhubanov Aktobe Regional State University (also known as ARSU) is one of West Kazakhstan's most prestigious regional universities. ARSU provides 54 undergraduate programs and 13 graduate programs in physics and mathematics, accounting and finance, economics, law, management, education, and psychology, among other subjects. In undergraduate and graduate programs, around 13 000 (full- and part-time) students, including international students, are enrolled.
Educational orientation, science, and a solid reputation as the only regional university are just a few of the university's top attributes.
Programs are taught in Kazakh and Russian, with multilingual groups learning English.There are also foreign language teaching courses (Korean, Turkish, Chinese, and Polish), and the institution plans to create a Goethe Institute to teach German.
