Metropolitan Autonomous University
Metropolitan Autonomous University (UAM) is also one of the best universites in Mexico that can not be ignored. The Metropolitan Autonomous University (UAM) was founded in 1974 with the support of then-president Luis Echeverria Alvarez and is distributed over four campuses in Mexico City: Azcapotzalco, Cuajimalpa, Iztapalapa, and Xochimilco. The fifth is located in Lerma, a city located just outside of the country's capital.
UAM was the first Mexican institution to offer an undergraduate degree in environmental engineering when it initially opened its doors. It has 75 undergraduate and postgraduate programs to choose from.
UAM is participating in a variety of social business programs with the goal of assisting and addressing the issues of the most disadvantaged members of Mexican society. Stomatology clinics, legal assistance for the poor, and a research and training center in Chiapas are among them.
Foreign language centers, a library, many bookshops, medical centers, and sports fields are all available on campus.
