Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Mexico (UAEMex)

Ranked 5th in the ranking of the best universities in Mexico is Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Mexico (Autonomous University of the State of Mexico). The Autonomous University of the State of Mexico was founded in 1956 as a public university, but it had been home to higher education institutions for more than a century before that. It serves as the state's primary public university, with a number of campuses spread around the country.

The university is mostly located in Toluca, which is near to Mexico City. It is a huge university that makes a significant contribution to Toluca's vast student population. Toluca is one of Mexico's most populous and fastest-growing cities, and it offers a lot to UAEM students. Toluca is just a short drive from Mexico City, one of the world's most densely inhabited metropolises and one of Latin America's most important capitals.

UAEM has a total of ten campuses around the state and has access to a wide range of academic resources and facilities.
