Mount Kinangop
Mount Kinangop is the fourth name on the list of the highest mountains in Kenya that Toplist would like to introduce to you. The height of Mount Kinangop is 3,906 meters (12,815 ft) above sea level. This mountain is a popular tourist destination in Nyandarua County. It is located within the Aberdare National Park, which is home to lions, antelopes, buffalos, gazelles, hyenas, leopards, and snakes, among other types of birds and wildlife. Mount Kinangop is regarded as the most difficult hiking trail in the trekking community.
Kinangop is the Aberdares' second-highest peak, after Mount Satima. Bamboo woods cover the lower sections of the mountain. Tussock grasses cover the area higher up. The main peak of this mountain is surrounded by broad moorlands and is a granite outcropping. Temperatures in Mount Kinangop are chilly due to the elevation and may drop below freezing at night.
