Mwanza
Mwanza is the capital of the Mwanza region and a port city on Lake Victoria in northern Tanzania. It serves as a crossroads for trade between Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda, as well as the administrative center for the Northwest region. Rail links the city to Dodoma and Dar es Salaam. There are numerous fish industries. They sell Nile perch fillets in Europe and South Africa. On the street, you can buy oranges, bananas, pineapples, mangoes, avocados, cassava, roast maize, and taro. Mandazi, bags, and other local fried bread are also available in some areas.
