Operation Finale

Chris Weitz directed Operation Finale, a 2018 American historical drama film based on a script by Matthew Orton. The story of how a group of Israeli secret operatives arrested legendary SS member Adolf Eichmann - the man who masterminded the "Final Solution" - in Argentina. Oscar Isaac plays Peter Malkin, a famous Mossad spy, while Ben Kingsley plays his emotionally manipulative arch-nemesis. Malkin and his men tracked down Eichmann in Buenos Aires and caught him, bringing him to Israel for a historic 8-month trial.

The story was based on a number of sources, notably Eichmann in My Hands, a book by Israeli officer Peter Malkin. The film was released in theaters in the United States on August 29, 2018 by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer under their joint venture with Annapurna Pictures (now known as United Artists Releasing).
