Souplantation

Sweet Tomatoes, also known as Souplantation in Southern California, was a chain of all-you-can-eat buffet-style restaurants established in the United States. The company's initial site debuted in 1978 in San Diego, California, where it was based. In 1983, the firm was formed as Garden Fresh Corp. The firm went public in 1995 but was bought out in 2004]. Due to regulatory restrictions connected to the COVID-19 epidemic, the firm, owned by Garden Fresh Restaurant Corporation, temporarily shuttered all 97 sites in March 2020. The shutdown was made permanent on May 7, 2020, and the corporation filed for liquidation.

Buffets are a blessing when your children are unable to remain still for lengthy periods of time. This franchise, known as Souplantation in Southern California and Sweet Tomatoes in the rest of the country, is especially great since it's inexpensive (less than $10 for adults and $5 for kids 3 and up), quick, and focuses on healthful cuisine. A spaghetti station, eight soups, a 55-foot salad bar with plenty of fruits and vegetables, a bakery area with focaccia pizza and low-fat muffins, and a soft-serve "fro yo" machine are among the amenities. It's also a perfect location for finicky eaters to try new foods, such as banana squash, because they can take only a little portion from the buffet. There are 109 restaurants across 15 states.
