The Old Spaghetti Factory

The Old Spaghetti Factory is a franchise of Italian-American restaurants in the United States and Canada. The Old Spaghetti Factory International, located in Portland, Oregon, owns the US restaurants, while The Old Spaghetti Factory Canada Ltd. owns the Canadian locations. In 2003, the US corporation alone had 45 restaurants in 14 states and Japan, with $105 million in revenue. From 1983 to 1993, the company ran an Old Spaghetti Factory in Hamburg, Germany, but it was its sole European location.

The Old Spaghetti Factory, an antique-filled restaurant, is not the first place you'd imagine to take the kids, but it has a nice family feel. If you're lucky, your family will be able to get a seat inside the trolley vehicle available at each place. If not, there are amusing "bed booths" made from antique headboards. The diverse design stands in stark contrast to the straightforward children's menu: Six pasta options are available, each served in a trolley-themed dish. For $5, they include a tossed salad or applesauce, a drink, and ice cream or a juice bar. Furthermore, the business distributes a large number of children's meals in conjunction with its Rewards for Reading awards, which are delivered through schools and libraries. There are 37 restaurants across 15 states.
