Uno Chicago Grill

Uno Pizza & Grill (previously Pizzeria Uno and Uno Chicago Grill), or Unos, is a franchised pizzeria restaurant business owned by Uno Restaurant Holdings Corporation. Uno Pizzeria and Grill is widely renowned for its deep dish pizza in the Chicago style. In 1943, Ike Sewell launched the first Pizzeria Uno.

Forget all you thought you knew about this pizza shop. If you haven't been in a year or two, you're in for a treat: It now serves lighter flatbread pizzas as well as a kids' menu with grilled chicken, whole-grain penne, and health-conscious sides like broccoli, apples, and mandarin oranges. Kids may even put on an apron and build their own pie using flatbread dough, sauce, cheese, and toppings, which are then delivered to your table.

After that, the pizza is baked and returned with the remainder of the family's order. To add to the pleasure, several venues have character evenings, and many hand out apples to children as they go. There are 200 restaurants in 29 states. Some sites provide call-ahead seating.
