Suez Canal University
Suez Canal University, founded in 1976, is an Egyptian higher education school located near Ismailia on the west bank of the Suez Canal.
There were just six faculties when classes began in 1977: science, agriculture, commerce, engineering, technology, and education. Today, there are more than 20 faculties spread over Suez Canal University's branches in Ismailia, Suez, Port Said, and El-Arish.
Suez Canal University intends to become a center of excellence in the field of applied scientific research and scientific innovation, as well as to continue developing partnerships with universities around the world and to help provide practical solutions to the problems and needs of the Suez Canal and Sinai regions, according to the university's research plan.
The Medical Education Department at Suez Canal University (MED-SCU) was founded in 2001 and was the first of its kind in Arab region Egyptian universities.
Suez Canal University is a huge university, one of the largest in the region, with thousands of students enrolled in bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs. It is also known as one of the Egyptian best universities.
