The Crown

The Crown is a Netflix historical drama series about Queen Elizabeth II's reign, created and mostly written by Peter Morgan and produced by Left Bank Pictures and Sony Pictures Television.

It follows the reign of the present Queen of England. The Royal family has long been the subject of media and paparazzi attention, with fans as interested in their personal life as they are in their favorite celebrities'. Following the death of her father, King George VI, in 1952, Queen Elizabeth II became the longest-reigning British monarch. She has been on the throne for over 67 years, and a lot has happened to her family and the world during that time. The show's two seasons have gotten overwhelmingly positive reviews from reviewers and viewers.
