The White House
The White House serves as the president of the United States' official residence and workplace. It is located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, D.C., and has served as the official residence of every President of the United States since John Adams in 1800. The term "White House" is frequently used to refer to the president and his advisers.
This is one of the most difficult alleged haunted houses to gain access to for ghost hunters; however, a number of stories have emerged from this famous house. There are numerous legends about former presidents' ghosts roaming the White House, ranging from Abe Lincoln to John Adams to Thomas Jefferson. There are even reports of British soldiers patrolling the halls, presumably still irritated by the American Revolution. There's no word on whether Bill Clinton's ghost plays his saxophone every night while the President tries to sleep. Wait, given that Bill Clinton is still alive, it could be him.
