The University of Queensland in Australia is a public university that was founded in 1909. It is situated in and around Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, the state capital. The university has three main campuses: St Lucia, where the majority of students study; Gatton, the university's hub for agriculture and veterinary science; and Herston, which houses the school's clinical health facilities. Other University of Queensland facilities, such as marine research stations, teaching hospitals, and an underground mine, can be found throughout the state. Tuition varies by subject and is more expensive for international students. Both St. Lucia and Gatton campuses have university student housing.
