    Hoxton

The urban lifestyle masterminds at Hoxton, the company behind millennial-attractive hotels in London, Paris, and Amsterdam, have built their first location abroad. The design-driven hotel has already established itself as one of Brooklyn's favorite hangouts for savvy New Yorkers because of its prime location in the neighborhood of Williamsburg.

The expansive lobby, which was created by Ennismore, is what visitors will notice first. Resembling a stylish Brooklyn friend's warehouse apartment, the room is a perfect place to catch up with friends, grab a bite to eat, or pull out your laptop for some ultra-modern remote working. Cosy or Roomy bedrooms offer incredibly comfy beds, chic mid-century contemporary furniture, and compact yet perfectly constructed bathrooms. Acai bowls and fried chicken sandwiches are just a couple of the trendy contemporary dishes on the hotel restaurant Klein's all-day dining menu. One of the most popular spots in town, the seasonally open Summerly bar is located up on the roof and allows visitors to enjoy lobster rolls while admiring the breathtaking views.

  3. The Nomad is one of the Best Design Hotels In NYC. With interior design by French architect Jacques Garcia, this Beaux Arts building from the turn of the century in the Flatiron District has been brought back to its former splendor. The NoMad's sumptuous beauty is laced with wacky bohemian details, such as tapestry-covered furniture, fading Persian rugs, a 200-year-old marble fireplace, and an antique staircase. It is in a terrific position near Madison Square Park and the Meatpacking District.

King-size mattresses, original artwork, reclaimed maple flooring, and custom-made furnishings, such as leather armchairs and antique mahogany writing desks, can be found in each of the 168 modest rooms. Some of them also provide breathtaking views of Broadway and the Flatiron, in addition to freestanding clawfoot bathtubs. Public

This location has a strong design history. Public is the newest place to be seen and be seen in the Lower East Side. It was conceptualized by Ian Schrager, co-founder of the Studio 54 nightclub and former hotelier/developer, and designed by Herzog & de Meuron, the architectural firm behind London's Tate Modern extension. The interiors were overseen by British John Pawson, who had previously designed plans for the minimalist style of Schrager's own New York apartment.

The idea, is housed in a brand-new, gleaming skyscraper and has 367 guest rooms as well as a restaurant, luncheonette-cum-grocery, bars, a gym, landscaped gardens, communal workspaces, and a dedicated art gallery/exhibition area/dancefloor ("like Brooklyn's Academy of Music, only better," according to Schrager), pushes online convenience to its logical conclusion. There is no front desk; you must use your own device to access the check-in process and get room service.

With scarcely their furnishings, floor-to-ceiling windows, 10 USB ports—yes, 10—and an Apple TV where guests may watch Netflix, the bedrooms are minimal but not bare. The ground-floor Public Kitchen is run by renowned New York chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, while the rooftop bar is quickly becoming the most well-liked new nightlife destination in the city.

  5. There are high expectations for this establishment. One reason is that it is The Peninsula, a symbol of wealth. In addition, it is located near Central Park at 700 Fifth Avenue, in the center of Manhattan's commercial district. But boy, delivers it does. This building has an old-fashioned elegance that starts in the lobby.

Suites upstairs have had a classic-meets-modern renovation from NYC king Bill Rooney. The elegance of the marble floors and Art Nouveau building is highlighted by the soft greys, taupe, and gold. The suites' artwork includes a painting by Michael Davis of Brooklyn, hand-painted floral murals by David Qian of Hong Kong, and headboards by Helen Amy Murray of London. After shopping, Livingetc enjoyed unwinding in the marble bath while watching Hollywood classics on the built-in TV. You can quickly head to the stores because Bergdorf Goodman, Tiffany & Co., and Barneys are close by, and the spa offers a special ESPA jet lag treatment.

  6. Listen up, fans of industrial interior design—this new hotel in the vibrant Brooklyn neighborhood of Williamsburg will be perfect for you (the corner of Wythe Ave and North 10th Street to be exact). The Williamsburg Hotel, which has 150 rooms on eight stories and is covered in brick, glass, and worn steel, was created by London-based architect Michaelis Boyd as a nod to the area's industrial past. The industrial theme is perfectly captured inside, with brick walls, distressed wood floors, and steel-framed glass, while the double-height ceilings give the rooms an eclectic, New York loft-style feel.

The nightlife and entertainment are the focus of hotel life, and there are numerous bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues available, including the soon-to-be-opened Watertower bar, which pays homage to the area's old wooden water tower manufacturing. Even more spectacular views of Manhattan and Brooklyn are available from the Watertower than from the hotel's incredibly elegant rooftop pool, bar, and café.

The hotel's rooms, many of which also have balconies, all have 10-foot floor-to-ceiling windows that frame those city views. The themes include custom upholstery, brass and marble bathroom fixtures from Waterworks, and textural accents everywhere. The furniture is created by Michaelis Boyd and leather supremo Bill Amberg.

  7. The Beekman is one of the Best Design Hotels In NYC. After a long day of shopping and sightseeing, The Beekman is the perfect spot for you if you enjoy being greeted by a kind bellhop. Once known as "that abandoned building," the Gothic-styled former commercial location has had a stunning comeback thanks to renovations that have brought back many of its original 1883 features, including the impressive atrium and the large skylight.

The 287 rooms now consist of 45 suites and two "Turret" duplexes with roof access. Inside, the furnishings range from bureaux with marble tops in the guest rooms to public areas with walls covered in leather. Thanks to two divine restaurants run by chef Tom Colicchio, the eating experience is appropriately outstanding (Gramercy Tavern). The concierge is, of course, a comprehensive local guide if you'd like to see what new stores have opened in this trendy neighborhood. All of this is included with the excellent service.

  8. With a location that brings SoHo, NoLiTa, and Chinatown all within reach, 11 Howard is without a doubt one of the chicest upmarket hotels in Manhattan. The 11 Howard feels polished and sharp without being pretentious, in contrast to some of the city's other upscale lodgings. A minimalist aesthetic predominates, with rich details and amenities like The Library, the hotel's immaculately furnished coworking space. Here, the food and drink are excellent, from Le Cou Cou and in-room dining to The Blond, a seductive and cozy bar. The amenities are rounded off by a modest fitness facility and an infrared sauna, albeit you have to pay for the latter and the daily amenity cost is high.

The 221 rooms, lobby, bar, and library of Space Copenhagen all have a stylish, Scandi style thanks to the talented architects Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou. Think of antique mirrors, bleached wood floors, and stuffed furniture from companies like Gubi and &Tradition. The hotel's interior walls and even it is outside are decorated with some breathtaking artworks, as Mr. Rosen is one of the world's most prominent art collectors. Oh, and the room service is so unique you won't believe it. To order seasonal, chef-driven dishes around-the-clock, simply touch the tablet that is left in each room.

  9. With three cottages and 16 rooms and suites that are all furnished in a Scandinavian style, this ancient yet fashionable hotel in the heart of East Hampton caters to the sophisticated Hamptonites. A Swedish-American hotelier owns Maidstone, which is a short bike ride from the village and close to the beach (with free beach cruiser loaners available). This is a well-liked option for individuals with money to spend because of the charming front porch, hip restaurant, and unique services (including doggie menus and yoga lessons in the Buddha garden). Mill House Inn can be preferred by those looking for peace and quiet who desire a similarly luxurious but less social hotel choice.

The 19 rooms and cottages are styled in a "Scandinavian Cozy" manner as a reference to the proprietors' Swedish ancestry. Wherever possible, the food at the aptly titled Living Room restaurant, a tastefully cozy affair, is organic, seasonal, locally produced, and always great. There are a few special Swedish specialties, like Västerbotten pie, available.

The natural world plays a significant role in this because The Maidstone is committed to recycling and uses environmentally friendly paint, energy, and linen. Take a stroll around the herb garden after your yoga session for an unforgettable aromatic experience. And don't forget to rent a Swedish-made Kronan bike and pedal over to Main Beach, one of the most magnificent lengths of sand in the area.

The Times Square Edition, the first stylish luxury hotel to grace the neighborhood, offers 452 guest rooms, a cutting-edge fitness center, a performance space, and six distinctive dining experiences created by Michelin-starred Chef John Fraser.

  11. Each floor of the Moxy, which is situated in one of Manhattan's most artistically diverse neighborhoods, is inspired by a different period in the history of the East Village, with obvious nods to rock and roll, graffiti art, and other countercultures for which the area is famous.

A rooftop bar, lobby bar and café, subterranean lounge, and French-Mediterranean restaurant are just a few of the 286 design-driven bedrooms, co-working spaces, tech-savvy amenities, and cultural programming that reflect the area's richly diverse fabric. Four new eating and drinking concepts by TAO Group also include these establishments.

A quad bunk, a queen + day bed, a normal queen, or a double-double are just a few of the layouts available in Yabu Pushelberg's 286 minimalist-designed rooms, which sleep one to four people. The rooms have a pegboard wall that keeps everything organized, ingenious under-bed storage, and fold-away furniture.

The soaring main dining room of the hotel's dramatic restaurant Cathédrale, designed by the Rockwell Group, evokes the feeling of discovering an undiscovered architectural gem: A substantial wire mesh sculpture hangs from its triple-height, 26-foot ceiling.

  12. The 1 Hotel is an eco-friendly haven with 229 rooms in the heart of bustling Midtown, only two blocks from Central Park. The AvroKo company designed the rooms, which feature chic reclaimed wood furnishings, recyclable cardboard hangers in the closet, hemp Keetsa mattresses covered in organic cotton linens, and a Google Nexus tablet that tracks your carbon impact. Throughout, there are impressive examples of recycling, including the floor of the fitness center made from a former basketball court belonging to the University of Wisconsin.

The best rooms provide breathtaking views of Central Park and the Manhattan skyline, giving the rooms a trendy treehouse vibe. The headboards are made from recycled water tower wood, the flooring is covered in chic faux animal hides, and the decor is soft and neutral with splashes of green like plant walls, terrariums, and preserved moss accents.

The hotel's "Jams" restaurant offers California-inspired fare in a friendly setting. With floor-to-ceiling windows and high-top communal tables arranged around the bar, the expansive dining area, located just off the lobby, provides farm-to-table dishes that change daily based on what is in season. In the foyer, a farmstand sells to-go refreshments such as fresh fruit, almonds, and other small meals. A modern, well-equipped gym with views of 58th Street is among the extras.
