Lawrence's Fish & Shrimp is sophisticated, yet light and airy, subtly nautical look reflects both its picturesque location right on the Potomac River and the vibrant cast of its menu - which bursts with all the Crudo, caviar, and delicacies like Spanish crawfish and razor clams you could hope for before branching out in the most thoughtful yet sensual of directions. Giant tiger prawns grace bucatini pungent with smoked sea urchin and Calabrian chiles while elusive Norwegian skrei gains punch from chickpea cream, squid ink, and a dusting of the bottarga. If you have an especially big appetite, go ahead and order the Super King Burrito, a 13.5-inch flour tortilla packed with your choice of meat, beans, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and sour cream. Taco Burrito King or simply T.B.K. is great for long study nights during finals or even if you’re looking for a great meal late at night. Reasonably priced but at the same time delicious. The Horchata and veggie King Burrito are awesome! Great burritos and great service. I got a steak burrito and it was huge, the most amount of meat I’ve ever had in a burrito! Known for its affordable prices (locals love the $0.92 chai) and hefty portions, Ghareeb Nawaz has plenty of options for meat lovers or vegans, and vegetarians. The array of standard classics like biryani, curries, daal, and chana masala is great, but you suggest going for the gosht - slow-cooked boneless beef or goat - or the paratha sandwiches, curries, chana, or aloo palak. The large crowd at the counter of this bare-bones Indo-Pak spot seems chaotic, but the diners are really just waiting for their postmeal chai. So push your way through, and order a bowl of delicious dal, loaded with bay leaves and chili peppers. Ask for the chili chicken and spoon the greasy, delicious, fiery red chunks onto the dense paratha bread. No matter what you order, you’ll get your money’s worth; most things here cost only about four bucks.
