    NAOE

NAOE ranks first in the list of best restaurants in Brickell. NAOE is a hidden gem in Brickell Key, and they honestly believe it is the best restaurant in Brickell and one of the top five in Miami. This cozy Japanese restaurant has been open for 13 years and has received numerous well-deserved accolades, including a recurring spot on Forbes' list of five-star restaurants. Up to eight guests (4 per seating) can enjoy Chef Kevin Cory's daily Chef's Choice menu for $280 per person every night at 5 PM and 9 PM (plus service charge and sales tax). This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and a rare find in Miami.

Chef Kevin Cory has been interested in Japanese cuisine since he was 19 years old. It stems from his family's sake brewery, Nakamura Brewery in Ishikawa, which has been in operation since the 1800s. And family is a recurring theme throughout your time at NAOE. Chef Cory's family makes their own soy sauce, which you will enjoy throughout your meal, in addition to their own sake.

This is a two to three-hour dinner, and they were extremely quiet for parts of it, soaking in every detail. The first two courses of the night were hot plates, including a Bento box, followed by the evening's Nigiri-sushi and dessert. Everything was fantastic. The striped jack, golden eye snapper, local salmon fermented in koji, karasumi that melts on your tongue, ensui uni, and the kasutera honey cake with NAOE ice cream made with soy sauce were their favorites of the night.

  2. Osaka Nikkei ranks 2nd in the list of best restaurants in Brickell. Osaka Nikkei treats guests to a multisensory Nikkei culinary experience. For a one-of-a-kind dining experience, the restaurant combines traditional Japanese cooking techniques with Peruvian flavors and ingredients. The dimly lit room transports guests to a Japanese-inspired oasis where they can watch the sushi masters at work.

The menu begins with Ceviches and progresses to Tiraditos & Usuzukuris, Makimono, and Nigiris, followed by Peruvian Izakaya dishes such as Hiyashi Zensai (cold appetizers), Yaki Zenzai (hot appetizers), and finally the entrees — Tokusen (special selections). Hotate Truffle Nigiri - seared white scallop infused with truffle butter and lime; and Tuna Foie, garnished with Maldon salt and caramelized pear - are signature dishes. The Mariscos al Fuego and the Hotate Parma are ideal for those seeking an extra kick.

Osaka's delectable cuisine is meant to be paired with an equally delectable drink. Mr. Osaka, a tart yet fruity rum-based drink with a smoky finish, and the Aka Sour, which transitions from slightly tart to sweet as the chicha morada-infused ice cube melts, are among the cocktails on the menu. The restaurant is closed on Monday but opens at different times for lunch and dinner the other days of the week.

  3. LPM RESTAURANT & BAR ranks 3rd in the list of best restaurants in Brickell. LPM Miami, which opened in 2017, is located in Greater Downtown Miami's Brickell neighborhood, one block from the main thoroughfare, right in the heart of the financial and business district and surrounded by consulates, high-end fashion shops, and hotels such as the Four Seasons and Mandarin Oriental. They have valet parking available. The restaurant has an informal entrance bar, a terrace for up to 25 people, a covered dining terrace for 53 people, and seating for 100 people inside.

The entrance is greeted by a delightful zinc bar with a double-height ceiling, which gives way to a triple-height ceiling above the adjacent dining area. There are several examples of Belle Epoque styling and details inspired by the French Riviera - Villa Ephrussi in particular - but the extraordinary Barbedienne reproduction of an 1875 bronze sculpture by Anton Mercie: Gloria Victis may be the most talked-about feature of all. The sculpture commemorates the Franco-Prussian War, depicting a defeated soldier being carried from the battlefield by his muse.

    KOMODO

KOMODO ranks 5th in the list of best restaurants in Brickell. David Grutman, the man behind Miami Beach's LIV and Story, created this eclectic destination in the heart of Brickell. With two of the country's top nightlife venues, he created a global lifestyle brand, and he is now one of Miami's top restauranteurs. By combining Southeast Asian cuisine with a South Florida ambiance, the three-story indoor/outdoor eatery and lounge elevates the Brickell Avenue eating and nightlife experience. The design team worked tirelessly to create a 17,000 square-foot restaurant that could accommodate any event, day or night.

  6. Marabu Brickell ranks 6th in the list of best restaurants in Brickell. Marab's unique name pays homage to Cuban culture. The restaurant's artisanal cuisine brings rural Cuban dishes to the table with bursts of smoky, rich flavor from charcoal cooking. Similarly, the cuisine offers a wide range of menu items, including large-format meats, rices, vegetables, and seafood.

Marab's atmosphere is influenced by cities such as Camagüey and Pinar del Rio. As a result, its interiors exemplify the Cuban suaveness and elegance that make the island so appealing. A swanky Havana-inspired bar takes center stage, serving an array of handpicked traditional Cuban cocktails with a modern twist. Furthermore, the restaurant has an outdoor pergola reminiscent of "el campo" to anchor a lively al fresco dining scene. Above all, a team of international Chefs is at the helm of the kitchen, whose approach to Cuban cuisine is centered on the concept of the family enjoying traditional dishes with a unique twist.

  7. All senses collide in a unique gastronomic experience at Richard Caring's popular and innovative Asian-inspired restaurant. Sexy Fish London, the sister restaurant, opened in 2015. Chef Director Björn Weissgerber prepares a varied menu inspired by the Asian seas, with a focus on Japan in the restaurant's gleaming interiors. The original Sexy Fish's signature dishes, such as Duck Salad, Smoked Tuna Belly, Crispy Eringi Mushroom, Black Cod, and King Crab and Bone Marrow, are still available at the Miami location. Weissgerber is in charge of new exclusive dishes and bold, seasonally-inspired flavors at this location, such as the Sexy Gold Fish & Crispy Caviar, which features marinated gold-flake sea bass cooked on the robata and served with caviar.

Martin Brudnizki Design Studio created the glamorous and opulent interiors for the restaurant. Its interior design is inspired by the style and sophistication of a mid-century brasserie, as well as ocean motifs. Coral leather and gloss eucalyptus are used for the seating and tables. With ten incredible Damien Hirst sculptures, 26 Frank Gehry fish lamps floating around a large waterfall column, a grand fish tank with live coral, and a colorful assortment of tropical fish spanning an entire wall inside the Private Dining Room, the space creates a sense of theater and escapism.

Sexy Fish Miami has an extensive Dom Perignon and Opus One selection, as well as wines sourced locally from the United States and a comprehensive cocktail and spirits menu. To round out this incredible culinary experience, the restaurant provides exclusive late-night entertainment with world-class performers, dancers, and DJs to pair with the late night menu, which is available on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

  8. Cipriani Miami debuted in 2013, with a space designed by Michele Bonan, the same architect who designed Cipriani Yas Island-Abu Dhabi, Cipriani Monte Carlo, and Downtown Ibiza. Cipriani's waterfront setting inspired the restaurant's chic blue and white nautical aesthetic. The Brickell location borrows elements from other Cipriani restaurants, such as the bar setting, which was inspired by Harry's Bar in Venice, and Tedeschi millwork and furniture.

Striped Venetian flooring, Walnut wood next to polished steel, a Venetian Murano chandelier in the center, and floor-to-ceiling windows complete the fabulous dining area. Cipriani Miami is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, serving classics such as the original Carpaccio alla Cipriani, invented in Venice in 1950, as well as Venetian specialties such as Calves liver alla Veneziana, the beloved Vanilla Meringue cake, and freshly whipped Vanilla ice cream. The restaurant has become a favorite among the Brickell community, as well as locals and international visitors.
