Fun Friday Avenue Market is a small weekend market that pops up every Friday evening on the way to Phuket Laguna on Boat Avenue. It's small but enjoyable to visit if you're staying in the Bangtao Beach area. Night markets are a way of life in Thailand, and wherever there is a market, there will be a crowd and plenty of food! Boat Avenue is a residential area with shops and restaurants in a convenient location near Tinlay Place. Tinlay Place was the only place alive at night if you were new to the area, but things change in Phuket.

Boat Avenue comes alive on weekends thanks to the Fun Friday weekend market. It's not as large as the famous Phuket Weekend Market or Chillva Market, but there's still plenty to discover. If your hotel is near Bang Tao, you'll quickly discover that there isn't much local life going on, so that market is a welcome addition. It's a lively, colorful, and enjoyable way to end the day. The shopping itself is unimpressive, with a large selection of T-shirts, shoes, cotton bags, mobile accessories, and suitcases. What's more appealing is a large amount of food to enjoy if you're in a bad mood. Don't be afraid to try things you've never seen before in this market.
