Hanoi National University of Education

The origins of the Hanoi National University of Education (HNUE) can be traced back to 1945 when President Ho Chi Minh established the Philology University Committee. The University was formally formed on October 11, 1951, with the mission of training teachers of various levels.

Hanoi National University of Education is dedicated to nurturing and educating each student to become a responsible and resourceful teacher or researcher who will contribute to the development of a nation of knowledge and humanity. They are devoted to providing equitable opportunities for all students, regardless of differences or backgrounds, to attain their full potential and accomplish their dreams. The university wants to be an active facilitator of the country's modernisation and development in the twenty-first century and beyond.

The Institute for Educational Studies and the Institute of Social Sciences are both research institutes at the Hanoi National University of Education. There are also more than 20 research institutions and technology transfer centers for scientific and technical achievements.
