University of Da nang

The University of Danang (UD), founded in 1994, is presently the largest in Central Vietnam. UD is a multi-level, multi-disciplinary university with significant strengths in Engineering, Technology, Economics, Education, and Foreign Languages. It is made up of 11 member universities and linked training units.


For nearly 45 years, UD has provided a large resource of leaders, managers, experts, and entrepreneurs to the Central-Highlands region and the entire country in many key fields such as engineering - technology, economics - law, social sciences and humanities, education, language - culture, and medicine. Alumni, postgraduate students, and Ph.D. students from UD have achieved success and held major positions and responsibilities in agencies, organizations, schools, and businesses that have made substantial contributions to the region's and country's socio-economic development.

UD
was also one of the first educational institutions in Vietnam to participate in the national higher education accreditation system, and it currently offers 24 educational programs that are globally accredited. Four UD member universities have been certified as having met the national accreditation requirement. Furthermore, the UD-University of Science and Technology (UD-DUT) is one of four universities in Vietnam to have received international accreditation from the French High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (HCÉRES).
