International University of Africa

International University of Africa, founded in 1992, is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of Khartoum, Sudan's largest city (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). International University of Africa (IUA), officially recognized by Sudan's Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, is a large (10,000-14,999 students) coeducational Sudanese higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion.

The International University of Africa (IUA) provides courses and programs that lead to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees, doctorate degrees and master degrees in a variety of fields of study. This Sudanese higher-education institution, which is 28 years old, has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' previous academic record and grades. The admission rate for this Sudanese higher education organization is 50-60%, making it a mediumly selective institution. International applicants are welcome to apply. IUA also offers a library, housing, sports facilities, financial aid and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, online courses and distance learning opportunities, and administrative services to students.
